You can take buses 201 and 503 from the Royal Palace, National Museum, and Phara Nakhon, the historic city center, to Phaya Thai Station. From this station you can get to the airport in 17 minutes.
You can also get on the express line at Makkasan Station. Other lines take about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

There are vehicles that depart from Victory Monument, which is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city, to the airport every 20 minutes. You can get to the airport using luxury minibuses or buses where you need to connect or transfer in between. Minibuses 550 and 551 will take you directly to the airport. The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. These vehicles are all air-conditioned, providing comfortable transportation for tourists.

From here you need to take Motorway 7, which connects directly to the airport. Passengers who prefer a private rental car to reach the city center can rent a car from three car rental companies in the terminal building. While Europcar operates 24 hours a day, Sixt accepts passengers between 07:00 and 22:00 all week and Alamo between 06:30 and 23:00 all week.
