Transportation to Airport from Mazar I Sharif City Center
Mazar i Sharif Intl. Airport
In the city where the public transportation system is not common, the fastest and comfortable transportation to the airport is provided by special vehicles. There is a train station very close to the airport. This station stretches from the city center to Uzbekistan, but it serves mostly for the purpose of transporting commercial goods.
Hotel Shuttles
Although it is very easy to find in a hostel or motel Mazar I Sharif, there are not much bigger hotels. You should check with your hotel whether or not they provide a shuttle service to the airport and make reservation in advance.
Taxi
Taxis are a frequent means of transportation to get to the airport from the city center. If there is not much traffic, you can reach the airport in 16 minutes. It’s a good idea to have a deal about the fare with the taxi driver before you take the cab. If you ask at your hotel, they will help you to find a taxi which will pick you up at your hotel.
Car Rental
It is a transportation method used frequently in Mazar I Sharif. Since the roads are not generally asphalt, the Jeep is the most preferred type of vehicle. By renting a car, you can move freely both in the city center and easily reach the surrounding cities.
You should remember that traffic rules are not applied very often and traffic is generally intense. Continue straight on the AH76 motorway and turn off at the airport exit, and you will be able to reach the airport within 16 minutes under normal conditions after driving for 12 kilometers.

Approximately 12 kilometers from the city center, the one-storey airport is quite small. Apart from basic services, there are no different services possible at the airport. If you are going to get to the city center by your own car, you can take D400 road to reach the city center from Antalya Airport. Your journey to the city center by car takes about 20 minutes. If you want to leave your car at the airport, please remember that the airport has a car park with more than 2000 car capacity. Parking at the airport is charged on an hourly and daily basis.

You can find a taxi at every hour of the day at the taxi stands in front of the terminal. If you want to travel by taxi from the airport, taxi fares are as the follows: 140 Euros to Fethiye, 100 Euros to Finike, 90 Euros to Alanya, 50 Euros to Belek, 180 Euros to Dalaman, 80 Euros to Incekum, 60 Euros to Beldibi and Boğazkent, 75 Euros to Kızılağaç, 90 Euros to Kumluca, and 70 Euros to Side, Manavgat and Saklıkent (based on June 2015 figures).

Bus – Minibus
The municipal bus 600A provides transportation from Antalya Havalimanı to the harbor. The municipal bus 600 departs every 30 minutes from Antalya Airport and arrives at Antalya Coach Station by passing through the city center.
Once you arrive at the coach station, you can also get on the buses or minibuses headed to Kemer, Kaş, Alanya, Kalkan, Kumluca, Demre, Gazipaşa, Side, Aspendos, and Manavgat.
