The distance between Shenzhen city center and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport is not short; however there are enough alternatives for transportation. You can reach the airport comfortably by taking a bus or the metro from Shenzhen city center. You can take a taxi or rent a car if you need a more comfortable transportation option.

Taxi

It is always possible to find a taxi in the city center. All the taxis have a taximeter device and it costs around 100 yen to go to the airport. You should keep in mind that the taxis in Shenzhen have two different colors. Airport shuttles operate between 07:30 and the last flight from the airport. The shuttle departing from the city center goes directly to Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport. The journey lasts about half an hour under normal traffic conditions.

Bus

Buses departing from Shenzhen city center and many points in the city are going till Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport. Most of these bus lines are express lines. Tickets are very affordable: only 2 yen.
