Airport traffic is not very intensive, although there are many visitors to the city for educational, political, and touristic purposes. There are two important reasons for this. First of all, the high-speed train line linking Paris and Strasbourg city transfers large numbers of passengers between these two cities.

On the other hand, Lufthansa Airport Bus company offers a shuttle service from Strasbourg to Frankfurt International Airport, independent of the airline you fly with. This allows many visitors to add Paris or Frankfurt to their excursion plan. Strasbourg International Airport is not very flashy in terms of architecture but it is an extremely satisfactory airport.

The departure area is located on the ground floor and there are special recreational areas at the 1st floor for passengers. You can take advantage of the free internet service on this area, relax in comfortable armchairs and use your electronic devices without the fear of running out of battery thanks to the power banks in the area. If this is not enough for you, you can visit the Playstation PS4 area at the airport and play your favorite game.
