About Krakor

Krakor is a town on the banks of Tonle Sap lake, which is an important life source for Cambodia. Located to the east of the provincial capital Pursat town. The town is located on the highway and train tracks which start from the capital Punon Pen and continue towards the north. The town, which is mainly engaged in fishing and agriculture, is also home to the floating villages built on Tonle Sap lake. Krakor is located on the shore of the largest lake in South Asia and located in a geography rich in streams. Phanom Ba Klas is home to a nature park. In this park, which provides tourists the opportunity to ride elephants, activities such as treking and camping are also organised, as well as fruit gathering activities for children. There is an airport 8 kilometers outside the town, which is located on the most important highway and railway lines of the country. The airport is open to domestic flights.
