Lodz, which is called "the art city of Poland", is the capital of the Lodz Voivodeship located in the middle part of the country. It is the third largest city in Poland and has a deep-rooted history. Famous film directors Roman Polanski and Krzysztof Kieslowski graduated from this school. Lodz is also known as the city where the famous pianist Arthur Rubinstein was born. Among the most interesting sightseeing spots in the city are Piotrkowska Street, Manufaktura, Karol Scheibler Palace, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Old Market Square, Sztuki Museum and Ten Commandments Monument. The city, where the cold and temperate climate is effective, receives a high amount of rainfall during summer and winter months. Bus

Bus stops are located near the entrance gate of the passenger terminal. The bus route 65 carries passengers to the city center and it also passes through Lodz Kaliska, the central railway station. The departure hours of the buses vary but they generally depart every half an hour. The travel lasts about 30 minutes.
