Another important historical place is the Saint-Yan Cathedral, which was built in the 12th century AD.

Although there is not any certain product in terms of agriculture, generally grapes used in wine production are grown. The city’s airport which was used by the German training and bombing aircrafts is today home to the French Civil Aviation University. Saint Yan Airport (also known as Charolais Bourgogne Sud Airport), which is home to a small assembly plant, acrobatic flights, private flights, regional flights and training flights, is located only a few kilometers of the city.
