Publicly known as Algiers International Airport, Houari Boumediene International Airport is located 20 kilometers southeast of Algeria. The airport serves its passengers with two terminal buildings, one for domestic flights and one for international flights.

If you follow the Midi Louise Moresu Boulevard, which continues along the coast, in order to get to the city center with the car you have rented, you will be accompanied by a beautiful sea view during your travel. By following this route which is the shortest way, you can be in the city center in about 20 minutes. There is also a limousine rental company at the airport for those who want a luxurious travel.

Taxi / Train

You can get to the city center in about 20 minutes by getting on a taxi departing from the airport terminal building. If you want to reduce your transportation cost, you can go to the nearest train station, Frayere Train Station, by taxi and get on the route TER going to the city center. Frayere Railway Station is about 2 km away from the airport and you can get there in just a few minutes by taxi. The train route TER that you will get on here takes you to the city center in about half an hour.
