The distance from the airport to the city center is about 30-40 kilometers depending on the route you choose.

Bus

Many bus routes in the city connect to Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport. Passengers can reach the city center from the airport by using buses. The most cost-effective means of transportation from the airport to the city center is, without doubt, the bus. By bus, you can arrive at the airport in an average of 30 minutes by spending 4 or 7 TL.

Taxi

Taxis are an alternative for you when you want to reach the city center from the airport. The fares may be higher than the fares of public transportation. For this reason, you should bargain before getting on the taxi. Taxis consist of yellow vehicles. The driver may demand approximately 40 TL for the distance of 33 kilometers between the airport and the city center.

There are two alternatives for the transportation to the city from the airport. It is possible to get to the city by using the roads DN2A/E60 and A4 or DN2A/E60. If you prefer DN2A/E60 and A4 you will drive 40 kilometers and if you choose DN2A/E60 you will drive 34 kilometers.
