Since the city is rich in oil, fuel is cheap, making traveling by car a very attractive option. Getting to the city center from the airport is very easy. One of the city’s most important avenues, Heydar Aliyev Avenue will connect you to the Boyuk Shor Highway, which goes to the airport. From the highway take the Airport exit. The airport contains indoor and outdoor parking lots where you can park your personal car for a certain fee.

Another way to get to the city center from Stuttgart Airport is by bus. Buses are a very affordable option. Buses take about 20 minutes to get to the city center. The bus terminal at the airport is located on the ground level, by Terminal 4. Buses are readily available once you land, so you can be on your way to the city without waiting. Rail

Trains are another affordable transportation alternative to get to the city. There are two lines that run through the city. The train ride to the city is very enjoyable. Trains are easily accessible from the airport station, providing convenient transportation to the city. The metro is another affordable and fast means of transportation. The metro is accessible from Terminal 1 at the airport. The metro takes about 30 minutes to get to the city. Trains run every 10 minutes during the week and every 30 minutes over the weekend.
