Rail

You can also get on the express line at Makkasan Station. Other lines take about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

Airport Services

There are vehicles that depart from Victory Monument, which is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city, to the airport every 20 minutes. You can get to the airport using luxury minibuses or buses where you need to connect or transfer in between. Minibuses 550 and 551 will take you directly to the airport. The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. These vehicles are all air-conditioned, providing comfortable transportation for tourists.

From the historic city center (Phara Nakhon) take the Nakhon Sawan or Lan Luang bridges and connect to the Sirat Expressway, which has a toll. From here you need to take Motorway 7, which connects directly to the airport. After reaching the airport you can park your vehicle in one of the three parking lots, which have a total car park capacity of 5 thousand vehicles.

Taxi

You can take a taxi in front of both terminal buildings. The lowest taxi fare is 15 dollars. The fare includes 1.5-dollar waiting free and the first 3 miles. You need to pay 3 dollars for each subsequent mile. 15% discount is available for the passengers over 65 years of age. It costs about 15-18 dollars to go to San Jose city center from the airport and taxi journey takes only 10 minutes.

Train, Tramway and Bus

You can take train, tramway or bus if you want to benefit from public transportation options. You can get to the city center or different destinations by choosing from these alternatives. It is possible to get to Amtrak Train Station, tramway station or bus terminal by taking the free shuttle bus at the airport exit. The tramway line 901 takes you directly to the city center after a 50-minute journey.

You can take the shuttle services from the parking area underneath Terminal A or the area across from the road at the exit of Terminal B. 28 different private companies provide shuttle service to almost every part of the city based on "door-to-door" service principle.

Rent a car

The Car Rental Center is located just opposite the terminal B and serves in a separated building. The car rental center is a short walk away from Terminal B; you can also get to the center from Terminal A by free shuttle services. These services depart almost every 7 to 10 minutes, depending on the density during the day.

12 different companies serve in the car rental center. You can reach the city center in about 10 minutes by driving through the Airport Boulevard and then connecting to the CA-87 N motorway.

There are tens of limo rental companies in both terminal buildings. Please note that limousines can only be rented by booking in advance.

6 hotels in San Jose provide free shuttle services to the airport. Some hotels offer this service for a fee. You can take advantage of this service by contacting your hotel in advance.
