Airport Information

Bursa Yenişehir Airport, which is 50 kilometers from the city center, was firstly opened as a military airport in Yunuseli neighborhood and then, the airport served for cargo planes. The airport has been opened to civil air traffic in 2001.

Train

It’s both practical and economic to take one of the trains operated by Austrian Railways (ÖBB) to central Innsbruck from Innsbruck Airport. You can reach Mitterweg/Unterführung and Innsbruck Westbahnhof’a (Egger-Lienz-Sraße) with the train that you take from the station just outside of the terminal building. Bus

Taking the bus is without a doubt the most economic way to reach central Innsbruck from Innsbruck Airport. Some of the bus stops for the buses that leave every minutes from the airport are as follows: Uni-Sportstätten, Steinbockweg, Fischerhäuslweg, Angergasse, Exlgasse, Bachlechnerstraße, Unterbergerstraße and Triumphpforte (Leopoldstraße), which is the last stop. The price for a ticket on the F line bus that will take you to Innsbruck city centre in around 13 to 20 minutes from the airport is only 4 euro.

Taxi
