Al Dock, Opera, Sedat (Tahrir) and Naguib are the metro stations close to the center.

You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Airport Information

The airport, in the Heliopolis area, is the second airport in Africa with regards to passenger traffic. With the completion of the newly constructed terminals, there are also many possibilities offered for those waiting for their flight.

The train station located in the city is not only used for urban transportation but also for intercity transportation. From here you can easily get to Moscow and Astana by getting on a train. By transferring, you can also get to other cities.

During your visit, you can rent a car or motorcycle from one of the car rental companies located in the city center or at the airport. Since the city is quite small, you can travel around with your car without fear. However, you must remember that you should have an international driver's license.

From Chelyabinsk International Airport, you can get to the city center by bus, taxi or shuttle service. Some hotels also offer airport shuttle service. Bus

Taxi

You can easily see the taxis waiting for their passengers when you get out of the airport arrival terminal. There is taximeter in all taxis and the fares are standardized. Travelling to the city center from the airport by taxi takes about 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Car Rental

At Chelyabinsk International Airport, there are the offices of both local and international car rental companies. By visiting one of these companies, you can rent a car suitable for your budget.
