You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Especially if you need to travel to a place which is not far from the city, you can have a budget-friendly travel by taxi. The average cost of your travel to the center from the airport by taxi is 4,000 CFA franc. You can try to reduce the fare by talking to the driver before getting on the car. Lome Airport does not offer a wide range of alternatives for passengers who want to rent a car for travelling to the city center. Instead, local rental companies usually offer service at the airport.
