Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

You can make benefit of the car rental services available at the airport. For an average of 100 euros you can make a luxurious trip with 4 or 7 seated vehicles. To reach the city center from the airport, connect to the D400 via the D221 and then use the E52 interchange via the A35. Approximately 17 kilometers and 16 minutes later you can reach the city center.
