About Congo Republic
In the present location of the Republic of the Congo, the Kingdom of Congo used to rule. In the 16th century, the Kingdom of Congo reached its brightest period in its history, but following this century, the kingdom began to collapse rapidly due to internal disturbances and wars. The Kingdom of Congo, which was destroyed by the arrival and settlement of Europeans and continued to exist under the rule of other powerful countries such as France, declared its independence on August 15, 1960.
