Transportation to Airport from Dakar City Center

In the city where the rail transport system is not available, the only public transport alternative is the bus to get to the airport from the city center. You can reach the airport by bus only during the day as it does not serve at night.
You can rent a car from the city center, use hotel shuttle or take a taxi to get to the airport in about half an hour in normal traffic conditions. Private shuttle services are another convenient alternative.

The fare to pay to travel to Port Med by taxi is 300 dirhams and 120 dirhams to travel to the train station. The taxi journey between Ibn Batouta Airport and Tangier city center takes on average 10 minutes.
