Express Busses

Express busses are very popular among the tourists as it is one of the most affordable and fast ways of transportation from the Edmonton Airport to the city center. Route 747 is the line from the city center to the Edmonton Airport, has several bus stops in the city for convenience, and is part of the Edmonton Transit System (EYT). This bus operates seven days a week and has a departure every half an hour. As of 2016, the one-way ticket price is 2,50 Canadian Dollars, monthly bus pass option is available and costs approximately 100 Canadian Dollars. No matter where you are in the city, it is very easy to get to the stops of the express buses by tram. You will likely arrive at Edmonton Airport in 35 minutes by taking this bus from the city center.

Shuttle

There are several shuttle companies in Edmonton city. For affordable and comfortable transportation, some of the shuttle companies are; Airport Sky Shuttle services, SunDog Tours Jasper Shuttle services, and Ebus services in addition to that, hotels provide shuttle services for their customers. You can either contact the related personnel of the hotel you are staying in for shuttle services or other shuttle companies for transportation. Pricing varies from company to company, the city center to Edmonton Airport transfer costs 34 Canadian Dollars with Ebus, and Airport Sky Shuttle company charges 11 Canadian Dollars for one-way transportation to the airport. From the city center to Edmonton Airport, it takes approximately 20-25 minutes by shuttle.

Edmonton Airport is the biggest airport in North Canada and North Alberta in terms of the sum of acreage. The airport is located 26 kilometers southwest of Edmonton and is the 5th busiest airport. Approximately 8 million passengers used the airport in 2015 as it is an international airport, so it provides many services that the passengers may need. There are many different ways of getting to the city center from Indianapolis International Airport. You can take a taxi, the bus, use a shuttle service, or even share a limousine if you want a luxurious journey. There’s a taxi queue right outside arrivals. The taxis have a minimum charge of 15 dollars regardless of where you’re going. You can hire a car suited to your budget from the wide range of option and reach the city center in less 20 minutes easily by taking the I-70 motorway at the airport exit.

Bus

Unlike the shuttle services, the bus is not direct and will often stop to pick up and drop off passengers along the way, especially on Washington Street. It's definitely slower, but the price is $ 1.75, which is the same as the standard bus fare through the city.

This bus line from the airport to the city center has a total 54 stops and the journey takes around 1 hour. If you’re going to use the buses to get around in the city in general then you can get a daily ticket for 4 dollars.

Hotel Service

The airport shuttle services that are offered by hotels in Indianapolis may be by private vehicles or a shuttle bus / minivan. If you make a reservation in advance then you car will be ready upon your arrival. You should reach the city center in no more than 20 minutes.

Limousine

If you really want a different and comfortable option then you can rent a limousine from one of more than agencies available at the Transfer Center in the airport car park. Limousines can be rented privately or shared.
