Havaş

Havaş shuttles that take off from Çeşme, Alsancak, Karşıyaka-Mavişehir and Kuşadası are the most preferred means of transportation to the airport.

Cafes, bars and restaurants located in the terminal include Cafe İzmir, Cafe Nero, Express-o Busgate, Express-o Hava, Express-o Kara, Gloria Jean's Cafe, Kantin, Ekmekarası Café, Beer Port Bar, Burger King, and Ton-Ton.

In addition, if you want to go shopping you can visit the Old Bazaar, Gift Shops, Desa, Alsancak, Toyzz Shop, D&R, Samsonite, Simpark Tobacco Shop, Duty Free Shop and Setur stores.

If you would like to get to the center from Bukhara Airport by means of public transport, you can take a bus from in front of the terminal. Thanks to the short distance between the airport and the city, the bus ride does not last very long, and the ticket fares are also very affordable. The bus ride would last around 20 minutes usually. You need to buy your bus ticket in Uzbekistan Som, currency of the country. This is why you have to be sure to have local currency with you before you board the bus. If you would not want to walk to your destination after arriving to the center by bus, you can continue with a taxi.

Taxi

You can easily find a taxi at the airport especially during the periods with busy flight schedules. Although the fare of the taxis in Bukhara would depend on the distance you travel, it is possible to say that they are low generally. If you are not well informed about the roads in the city, you are advised to get information about the estimated route and fares from the driver in advance.

Car Rental

Getting to the center of Bukhara by renting a car is one of the frequently used transportation options. The close proximity of the city center to the airport results in a short car ride between the two. The things that you should keep in mind while renting a car is that you would be expected to have an internationally valid driver’s licence with you and to pay a small amount in advance. By following the road signs, you can end your journey in a short time with your rental car.
