Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport from where Kathmandu’s, as well as whole Nepal's international flights are made. While you can rent a private car from the car rental companies located at the airport, shuttles and taxis are also carrying passengers to the city all day long. Metro is also used frequently as the only means of public transportation.

Metro

You can get to the city center with metro line L4 which you can take from terminal 5 at the airport. You can transfer to lines 6 and 1 on this line which has eight stops in total.

Shuttle

You can easily and comfortably reach the city center with the shuttle service that you should book in advance. The drivers of the shuttles that pick up their passengers from the airport terminal take them to the city center.
