Transportation to Airport from Kathmandu City Center

To reach Tribhuvan International Airport from Kathmandu city center, you can rent a taxi or use the airport shuttle service. Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport from where Kathmandu’s, as well as whole Nepal's international flights are made. The airport, which has been operating since 1949, is about 6 kilometers from the city center of Kathmandu. The airport has all the basic services such as post office, first aid center, foreign exchange office, and cash dispenser.
