The roads throughout Bahrain are asphalt and well maintained. At the same time, oil is so cheap that it offers a great advantage in terms of car rental companies. Charleston Airport is located 25 kilometers from the city center, with a complete infrastructure for handling domestic and international flights. It is located some distance from the city center, but can be reached by bus, taxi, or private car.
