The main means of transport used in the city are buses and taxis. The buses are very economical and practical. Bus

The city has 23 different routes for buses with a total of 15 different lines. Buses that go directly to the airport depart from the stop that is about 200 meters west of Regency Intercontinental. Minibus

The use of minibuses in Bahrain is at least as popular as the buses. It is much more economical to get to the airport with the minibuses you can encounter in almost every corner of the city. Because the average ticket prices for these minibuses that are not connected to any business vary between 0.15-0.20 dinars. Sometimes even bargaining with drivers can be done. Minibuses with less capacity than buses can be crowded during heavy traffic hours.

Taxi

The fact that oil is cheap in the country does not, unfortunately, provide a discount on taxi fares. On the contrary, the fares are extremely expensive compared to many other cities and countries. So it's your benefit that you do not use the taxi unless you have to. In particular, Bahrain's locals prefer to use their own and not to spend unnecessary money on the taxis. Car Rental

The roads throughout Bahrain are asphalt and well maintained. At the same time, oil is so cheap that it offers a great advantage in terms of car rental companies. Because tourists who visit the country prefer not to waste their time on underdeveloped public transport, and prefer to widen their choices, they rent a car. Because of this, there are many offices of international and local car rental companies both in the city and at the airport.

Airport Information

Bahrain International Airport, located 6 kilometers north-east of Bahrain's capital Manama, is only 15 minutes away from Manama city center. Bahrain International Airport hosts 2 communication shops, cafes and restaurants (Starbucks, Chilies, Costa Coffee, Dairy Queen, Papa John's, Jasmi's Caribou, Romanos Macaroni Grill, Habara, Irish Pub Int, Habara Skybar, Mcdonalds, Gloria Jeans Coffees),  9 travel agencies, 2 banks, 2 currency exchange offices, duty free store, souvenir shops, bookshop called Al Hilal, smoking area, and offers free internet access.

At the same time there are 18 different car rental companies, car parking areas and Caravan Group of Hotels, which is the airport hotel.

It is easy to reach the city center of Perth, the largest city in Western Australia, from the airport thanks to the wide network of newly built roads and highways. You can hit the road in a short time by renting your car from the various car rental companies at the airport, or by taking one of the taxis waiting for you at the arrivals terminal.  If you prefer public transport vehicles you can also reach the city center by bus.

Rent a car

Transport to the city center from the airport can be carried out by car rental, which in Perth is one of the most commonly preferred options. Taxi

Taxis are available 24/7 at Perth airport but may be pricey. However, there is at least a fixed fee that is determined when going to the city center from the airport. A one way ride from the airport to Perth city center costs around 43 AUS dollars, if you arrange a roundtrip to and from the airport it is 86 AUS dollars. If you are going in the direction of Fremantle, it is $ 67 one-way and $133 roundtrip. For Scarborough it is $70 and $140 round trip. To reach Jondalup one way it is $97,and Cocburn $67. Obviously this is not the cheapest option for long distances.

Shuttle Services

At Perth Airport shuttle service is provided to passengers by Connect Shuttle. Shuttle service centers provide direct transportation to the train station in East Perth, Kings Perth Hotel, Wellington Street, Western Australian Museum and other options. Some hotels,  such as The Ambassador Hotel also offer their own hotel shuttle services, which take off from the T3 Terminal. You don't need to pre-book to use this option and the price is around $15. 

Bus

For those who prefer public transport, there are also many buses carrying passengers from the airport to the central bus station in the city center. Bus lines 380 and 40 in particular navigate around the city and can be accessed at an affordable price. Bus line 380 terminates at the Elizabeth Quay Bus Terminal, stopping at Burswood Train Station, the Belmont Forum, and other Perth landmarks, such as the Mall. Bus line 40 carries passengers across Perth by using the Great Eastern Highway. 

Hotel Services

You're on the way to the city center from the airport with a range of useful hotel shuttle services. Not every hotel offers one, but if your hotel does you are in look as this is an affordable and useful option. Just make sure to call your hotel in advance to see if such a service is provided and at which times it takes off from the airport.
