Airport Information

Located about 10 km from the city center, Mexico City International Airport, also known as Benito Juarez International Airport, is the busiest international airport in Mexico. Mexico City International Airport operates passenger services out of 2 terminals. The airport handled over 35 million passengers in 2015 and is Mexico’s busiest airport. There is an inter-terminal transportation system that connects both terminals. The Aerotren monorail system provides transportation between terminals for passengers who have a boarding pass. However, most of the hotels have airport shuttle service for their customers.

Taxis are waiting for their customers in front of the terminal building and ensure that they reach the city center in about half an hour.

You can see the offices of two local and three international car rental agencies at the airport arrival terminal. In order to get to the city center, you should go towards southeast on the highway 25. Under normal traffic conditions, you can get to the city center in half an hour.

Shuttle Service

Four different companies operating in the airport offer shuttle service to the passengers.

Vehicle fleet includes minivans, automobiles, buses and limousines. Fees vary according to the number of people, vehicle type and destinations. More than one hundred hotels offer airport shuttle service in Cali. By making a reservation beforehand and sharing information such as the number of passengers, the estimated landing time of your plane and the amount of baggage, you can have a very comfortable transportation vehicle. Your driver will welcome you at the baggage reclaim area and take you to the hotel. You should remember that the cost of this service is generally a little more expensive than the taxi fare.
