You can travel to Mineralnye Vody International Airport to get to this city known for its mineral water deposits. In addition to Mineralnye Vody, this airport also serves many other cities such as Cherkessk, Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Yessentuki.

Mineralnye Vody, located near the Kuma River, has a small city with a very low population. As a result, public transportation choices within the city are also limited. You can travel by bus within the city; but taxi or car rental options may be more useful.

You can also travel to neighboring cities via Mineralnye Vody Train Station. Trains do not operate within the city. The distance between the city center and the airport is about 4 kilometers. Airport Information

Mineralnye Vody International Airport is well known as one of the largest airports in Russia. Apart from Mineralnye Vody, you can also reach cities like Cherkessk, Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk and Yessentuki from the airport. There are facilities to ensure you have a pleasant time in the airport; but your alternatives are more limited than at a major airport.

At the international terminal, there is a big duty free store where you can buy a variety of quality products. Apart from that, you can find various restaurants and cafes, and spend time in boutique shops selling traditional products. There are also family areas designed for parents with children under the age of seven in the terminal.

The city center is only a few kilometers away from Bogorodskoye Airport and reachable in a short amount of time through some different transport options. The quickest method is to take one of the taxis waiting at the terminal exit. If you prefer to use public transport you use a ‘marşrutka’, a type of minibus. This inexpensive journey should take you to the city center in 10-15 minutes, however since the vehicles are quite small it’s not advisable to use them if you are a large group or have a lot of luggage.  There’s no rental car agency in the airport so renting a car isn’t an option to reach the city center, but you can rent one from the car rental agencies in the city once you get there.
