There are many transportations methods available to get from the city center to the airport. No matter where you are in New York City you have access to the metro. From Penn Station, one of the city’s major stations located in central Manhattan, you can get to Newark Liberty Airport Station in about 30 minutes by taking the NJ Transit train or the Amtrak train. From this station you need to get on the AirTrain trains, which depart every 3 minutes and get to the airport terminals in about 10 minutes.

The Newark Airport Express service is another transportation alternative to get to the airport.
