Transportation to Airport from Perm City Center
Perm Intl. Airport
Perm International Airport is easily reachable both by public transport and by private car. Besides v-buses and minibuses to the airport, there are also many companies’ offices in the city from where you can rent a car. Taxi is the most practical alternative of transportation.
Taxi
You can always find a taxi conveniently in the city center. With the taxi, you can reach the airport in approximately 30 minutes. Although not possible in every cab, most of them have a credit card payment option.
Car Rental
There are a large number of car rental companies in the city center. You can reach the Perm International Airport in 40 minutes in the southwest direction on the E22 motorway.
Bus / Minibus / Collective Taxi (Dolmush)
The bus number 42 and the minibus line 1T from the city center and the main bus terminal go to the airport. Both vehicles work between 07:00 and 22:30. If you are going to the airport from Berezniki or Usolye you can take the minibus number 822.
Airport Information
Perm International Airport, 16 kilometers south-east of the city center, also has seasonal flights to different parts of the world, as well as regular flights to certain areas. At the airport there are areas where you can have coffee or eat something. The lounge serves passengers who do not want to give up comfort.
You can use the free Wi-Fi network throughout the building without a time limit. For the passengers traveling with the child, the mother and child room meet many needs. If you are curious about how things are happening at the airport and what happens behind the scenes, you can join private tours. These tours take place between May and October and last an hour and a half. You must not forget that you must make reservations in advance.
Transportation to Izmir City Center from Airport
Adnan Menderes Airport
You can get to the city center from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, which is located in the Gaziemir district 18 km away, by Havas shuttles, public buses, train, taxi or personal car. You can also rent a car at the airport.
Personal Car
If you are going to drive to the city center from Adnan Menderes Airport using your personal car, you can get to central locations like Alsancak and Konak in about 30 minutes.
Havaş
Havaş shuttles are a good choice to reach the city center. Havaş shuttles provide high frequency transportation to the city starting in the early morning and continue until late at night. You can reach many locations both in the city and outside the city, like Alsancak, Karsiyaka, Kusadasi, and Aydin, using Havaş shuttles.
In addition, from March-October Havaş shuttles provide transportation to and from Çeşme.
Taxi
You can get to your destination quickly by taking a taxi. Taxis are located right outside the terminal. However, if you’re going somewhere outside of the city like Çeşme taking a taxi can be very expensive. We would recommend finding out the distance to your destination and calculating the fare before hand.
Bus
Public buses are another alternative to get to the city center. Using line 200 you can get to Mavisehir, using line 202 you can get to Alsancak and its surrounding areas, and using line 204 you can get to Bornova and its surrounding areas. Before getting on the bus purchase a Kentkart (smart card for fare payment), which is valid for the metro and train as well.
Train
The fastest and most practical way to get to the city center from Adnan Menderes Airport is by train. The platforms are just outside the terminal, a short walk away. You can buy a Kentkart on the platform and take the train to the city center.
Rental Cars
Renting a car to get around in Izmir is a good idea, especially if you plan to spend a few days in the city and/or travel to the surrounding areas. You can reserve your vehicle in advance and pick it up from the car rental office located at the airport. You can return your vehicle at the airport rental office a few hours before your departure. In Izmir traffic is generally mild, with the exception of rush hour, which is another reason why renting a car can be more advantageous. Rental car agencies at the airport include Avis, Hertz, Işıl Tur, Sun Rent a Car, and Duray Rent a Car.
Airport Information
You can watch aircrafts land and take off from almost every part of Adnan Menderes Airport. After you go through the security check there are many eating and drinking alternatives in the domestic and international terminals, including Kantin, Starbucks, Gloria Jean's, Cafe İzmir, Burger King and Beer Port.
