Transportation to Airport from Samsun City Center
Çarşamba Airport
Samsun is the most developed and largest city of the Black Sea Region in Turkey. It is also a very dynamic city with a population of 1 million 300 people. Samsun is a developed city in terms of industry, agriculture and maritime transport. Urban transportation is provided by bus, minibus and taxi. It is possible to go to Amasya and Sivas from Samsun by train.

Havaş
It is possible to get to the airport by Havaş shuttles which depart from different points including the stops at opposite the Central Big Mosque, near the AKM building and at the Kültür Car Park. Havaş shuttles also depart from Atakum district of Samsun.

Samsun Çarşamba Airport was established in 1998 and it began to serve for passenger flights in 1999. The first airport, which was closer to the city center, had caused some accidents due to small and unfavorable runways and then a new airport has been established in Çarşamba. The bus departs from the stops at the exit of incoming and departing passenger area of domestic flights terminal and takes you to Menteşe district in Muğla city center and Yatağan and Milas districts.

It takes about half an hour to get to Bodrum district center and one hour to reach Muğla city center by driving.
