SamTrans lines KX, 292, 397, and 398 run directly to the airport terminals. Buses stop at the arrivals and baggage claim level of Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 and at Level 1 of the International Terminal.

There are many alternatives to go to the city from Guadalajara Airport, which is located Only 17 km from the city center. Bus

City buses that provide transportation from the airport to the city of Guadalajara take off 30 minutes after every plane landing at the airport. Buses departing from Terminal 1 also go directly to the Central Camionera Vieja, near the historic center. The fare is 6 Mexican dollars. In addition, taxis called Uber are more budget-friendly than normal. Uber taxis have vehicles at different capacities: 4, 6, 8 and 10 persons.

The airport terminal has world-class car rental companies such as Avis, Budget, Fox, Europcar, Hertz, Alamo, National, Veico Car Rental, Optima, Sixt and Thrifty Dollar. Besides, getting services from local car rental companies can be a good option in terms of budget. From Guadalajara Airport you have to use the Highway 23 motorway to Chapala to get to the city center. This journey lasts about 30 minutes.
