Metro

The U-Bahn metro system operates 3 different lines throughout the city. Taking the metro to the city is very convenient. There is a metro station located in the airport that provides transportation to the city center. The U2 line departs from the Flughafen station and gets to the city center in about 12 minutes. The U2 line connects the airport with the Central Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof) and the historic old town (Altstadt). Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes.
