Billings, the largest city in the state of Montana, is known for being home to the country’s most prominent energy source. In addition to having the largest oil reserves in US history the city also has the country’s leading coal and natural gas mines; therefore it is an energy center. Located in the middle of South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana, with the railway serving these regions going through the city, Billings is home to many headquarters of the businesses that serve the region and many hotels. Billings is one of the leading cities in the country in terms of tourism.

Attractions to explore in the city include Pompeys Pillar National Monument, Pictograph Cave, ZooMontana, Yellowstone Art Museum, as well as tourist attractions that are located less than 10 kilometers away like the Yellowstone National Park, Bighorn Canyon, and Red Lodge Mountain. There are two airports that serve the city; the Billings Logan International Airport, which is the closest one located 150 meters from the city center and the Laurel Municipal Airport, located 17 kilometers away.
