About Curuzu Cuatia
Curuzu Cuaita, located in the Corrientes Region in the north-east of Argentina, is located close to the border with Uruguay. The city is built on an extremely fertile and wooded terrain, where many various streams and rivers combine. Curuzu Cuaita is a very orderly city that is easy to navigate, thanks to the very organized city planning.
Curuzu Cuaita has a moist, tropical climate. I Curuzu Cuaita receives abundant rainfall all year round, although relatively less so in June, July and August. Temperatures in the city are measured at an average of 20C a year, but it often feels much warmer due to the high rate of humidity. Between November and March the temperature soars to over 30C, however. In June, July and August, both the amount of parcipation and the temperature are lower. For this reason, this season - Summer in the Northern Hemisphere but Winter in the South - is considered to be the best time to visit Curuzu Cuaita. San Martin Square is bordered by many cafes and is considered the meeting place of the city. Belgrano Square, equipped with old trees, a church and various sculptures, has a peaceful and calm atmosphere and is also a wonderful place to visit. General Paz Park is another nice activity area, hosting a variety of events, shows and concerts, including a small pond and many ducks. On the other hand, Municipal Mita Rori Park, which is especially preferred for families with children, also has a zoo, a children's playground, picnic area, walking paths and a pond filled with lively and colorful fish.
