Om Parvat, also known as Adi Kailash, Little Kailash, Jonglingkong Peak, Baba Kailash and Chhota Kailash, is a popular region of pilgrimage close to Adi Kailash Mountain and in the Himalaya Mountain Range of India. If you would like to reach this mountain, where the snow accumulating at the peak is thought to resemble OM breathing and which is considered holy, you can join hiking tours in the region. After reaching here, you can set off for Parvati and Jonglingkong Lake and set up a camp there.

Tibetan salt and wool are still traded in Dharchula Bazaar, which is at a 15-minute walking distance from the south of Purang, today. In the bazaar, which consists of 6 or 7 rows of shops, you can find clothes, jewelry, coffee and perfumes to gift to your beloved ones and for your home. It would be appropriate to plan your journey to Dharchula by avoiding the monsoon and winter season. For this reason, the best period to travel to Dharchula is the time between September and January.
