Tourism is the primary source of income as there are many large and generally 5-star hotels, especially in Kyrenia, Famagusta, and Bafra regions. While in Cyprus, you can visit places such as Kyrenia Harbour, Bellapais Monastery of Kyrenia, the Museum of Barbarism in Nicosia, the ghost town of Famagusta, Karpaz Peninsula, and the Martyrdom Monument. There are direct flights to Northern Cyprus from cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, Antalya, Hatay, and Gaziantep.
Cyprus has a mild climate as the summers are hot and dry, and the winters are warm and occasionally rainy. You can swim from May to the end of November, so the best times to visit Cyprus are spring and autumn, as the summer months may be too hot.
