Taxi

One of the most convenient and fastest ways to get to the city center from the airport is by taxi. There is a taxi stand at all three terminals at the airport. Another means of transportation to get to the city center from the airport is by bus. Buses that provide service to the city to from the airport include Roissybus, Cars Air France, 350 Bus, 19 Bus, Noctilien night bus, Val d’Europe Airports Shuttle and Fileo Roissy.

Using the Roissy Bus service, which is provided by the city of Paris, you can reach the city center without having to transfer anywhere. Even though it takes about an hour it is a very reliable transportation service. You can get on the Roissy Bus at terminals 1, 2, and 3.  

Rental Cars

There are several car rental companies located in the terminal buildings at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Renting a car from Charles de Gaulle Airport is a convenient way to get to the city center. Car rental companies that are located at the airport include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Firefly, Hertz, Sixt, Interrent, Alamo, Advantage, Dollar, Thrifty and TT Car Transit.

Airport Information

Charles de Gaulle Airport has a total of 3 terminals, including the domestic and international terminals. The airport covers a significantly large area and therefore created a shuttle service to provide transportation between terminals. This shuttle service makes navigating the airport much easier. Terminal 1 was built in the shape of an octopus and contains technical functions on the first floor, which the public cannot access. The second floor includes restaurants, shops, and the CDGVAL inter-terminal shuttle train platforms.

The third floor contains most of the check-in counters and transportation services like taxis, buses, and special vehicles. The fourth floor is dedicated departing passengers and the fifth floor contains the baggage claim area. Charles de Gaulle Airport offers a variety of amenities and services.
