About Playa Santiago
The original name of the city is San Sebastian de La Gomera, and it is the capital of the island of La Gomera, on the Canary Islands, among the Spanish autonomous regions.
While the city's economy was based on agriculture in the past, tourism activities are now locomotives of the economy.
Public transportation within the city is provided with buses. The island is connected to the mainland via La Gomera Airport. There are also regular ferry services to the islands of Tenerife, La Palma and Hiero from the port of the city. There are many beautiful beaches around this harbor.
