About Segrate
The city of Segrate, located in the province of Milan in the Lombardy region of Italy, was home to around 33,000 at the time of the 2004 census. The Milano Amusement Park, which has been in operation since 1965, is the most famous amusement park in the city. Despite being a small city, it is home to large employers such as the CILEA Universities Consortium and San Raffaele Hospital, which have the most advanced supercomputer systems in Europe. The city has an honorary title with a decree of the Italian presidency in 1989.
With the Segrate train station in the city, rail journeys depart from the S5 and S6 lines to Milan every hour. With the city’s continental climate, the temperature drops to 1C in winter and reaches as high as 24C in summer. In the city where foggy weather is seen between October and February, olive and citrus production is also common.
