Transportation to Nuremberg City Center from Airport

Nuremberg is a city in the southeastern region of Germany, in the German state of Bavaria. It is the second largest city in the state and is home to the second busiest airport in the state. Nuremberg is a historically important city, especially during World War II and the Nazi era. The city is served by the Nuremberg Airport, which is located 6 km from the city center.

Metro

The U-Bahn metro system operates 3 different lines throughout the city. Taking the metro to the city is very convenient. There is a metro station located in the airport that provides transportation to the city center. The U2 line departs from the Flughafen station and gets to the city center in about 12 minutes. The U2 line connects the airport with the Central Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof) and the historic old town (Altstadt). Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes. You can also access other lines and regional trains from the train station.

Bus

Taking the bus to the city center from Nuremberg Airport is another transportation alternative.
