There are many transportation methods available to get to Georgia and northeast Turkey. The airport is located 20 km from the city of Hopa, Turkey and also serves as an airport for northeastern Turkey. The highway provides quick and easy access to the city center from the airport.

You can find taxis located at the terminal exit. The total trip to the city center by taxi takes about 15 minutes. Despite the fact that taxis are the most costly method of transportation they have the advantage of being the fastest alternative.  

Bus

Another transportation alternative to get to the city center from Batumi Airport is by bus. Buses are very affordable and get to the city center in about 20 minutes. Buses depart adjacent to the terminal building. You can get on the bus right after you land and start your trip to the city center without waiting.

HAVAŞ

Those who are traveling to Hopa, Turkey can take the Havaş shuttle buses. Havaş shuttle buses provide services for every plane that lands at Batumi Airport. Havaş shuttle buses depart for Hopa, Turkey 25 minutes after the flight has landed. The total trip takes about 45 minutes; you pass through the Sarp border and get dropped off at the Hopa Port.
