Transportation to Airport from Daegu City Center

Daegu Intl. Airport

You can take taxi to go to Daegu International Airport from Daegu city center. It is possible to get to somewhere nearby airport by metro. Renting a car is another alternative. The airport is very close to the city center, so you can get there quickly with every means of transportation.

Taxi

You will not have any trouble finding a taxi in the city center. You can get to the airport by taxi paying an average of 3,300 Won. Under normal traffic conditions, your journey should last less than 10 minutes.

Car Rental

There are enough car rental companies serving in the city center and you can get contact information from your hotel. You can normally arrive to the airport after a 5-kilometer ride, within 10 minutes.

Metro

You can go to Ayangyo metro station by taking the red line (line 1) from the city center. You have to get off at the 7th stop; the ride takes only 5 minutes. Ayangyo Station is 1.3 kilometers away from the airport. From here you can go to the airport by taxi or bus. The amount you need to pay for the bus ticket is 1,200 Won and you can pay in cash. If the weather is nice and you do not have heavy suitcases, you can also choose to walk.

In Daegu International Airport, which is a small yet spacious and practical airport, you can find all basic units such as pharmacy, cash dispenser, safe deposit box, and currency exchange office. You can take a break in various cafés and restaurants or enjoy tax free shopping in the duty free store.

Transportation to Vladivostok City Center from Airport

Vladivostok Intl. Airport

Since Vladivostok Airport is quite far from the city center, you can use various means of transportation to get to the city center.  Among these, the most popular electric trains provide fast and cheap transport, while city buses are often preferred. If you prefer a more comfortable mean, you can also evaluate the options of taxi or car rental companies by paying a bit more. It is possible to reach the city center of Vladivostok from the airport in maximum one hour and fifteen minutes.

Electric Train

It is incredibly practical to go to the city center of Vladivostok after landing to Vladivostok airport with electric trains. To take the train you have to walk towards the railway station when you get out of the airport terminal. Trains that operate between the airport and the city center of Vladivostok depart every one or two hours, from the early hours of the day until 6 to 7 pm in the afternoon. The stations that the train stops at include Artyom Station, Ugolinaya Station, Vtoraya Station, Morgorodok Station, Pervaya Rechka Station and Vladivostok Railway Station. You can purchase your ticket at the airport (Standard ticket-200 Russian Rubles & Business ticket-350 rubles).

Bus

The most practical way to get to Vladivostok city center from Vladivostok Airport is to use city buses. When you get out of the airport terminal, you are likely to see many bus stops. You can reach Vladivostok city center on an average of one hour if you take the Bus 107 from these stops. Bus 107, which departs from the stop right next to stop of Bus 7, starts operating at 08:25 am and departs until 8:00 pm. Bus 107, at service seven days a week, goes up to the Artem bus station in the city. Bus ticket costs 100 Russian Rubles as of 2016. In addition, the shuttle bus number 7 passes through the Vladivostok city center.

Taxi

If you prefer to take a taxi from Vladivostok Airport to go to the city center, it is better that you choose the taxi company Primavtolayn because it only provides transportation between the airport and Vladivostok city center, and its prices are very reasonable. You can find the taxis of this company in most of the taxi stands at the very exit of the terminal. The taxi ride from Vladivostok Airport to the city center takes 40-45 minutes and costs about 1000 Russian Rubles. This price might go up to 1700 rubles if you the taxi of another company.  

Car Rental

There are a lot of offices of various domestic and foreign car rental companies at the airport. You can pick up your car at the airport within minutes after landing, if you do a little research beforehand and complete your pre-reservation. You will need to use the M60 coastal road to get to Vladivostok city center in the shortest way. Within Vladivostok Airport, you will encounter many global car rental companies including Avis. You can go to Vladivostok city center in 40 minutes.
