If you wish, you can easily travel to the airport by taking a taxi or renting a car from Nassau city center.

Taxi

Across the city, taxis are waiting for passengers 24 hours a day and you can reach Nassau Airport in around 15 minutes by taxi. If you are travelling late at night, you may need to make a reservation by contacting the taxi companies during the day.

Rent A Car

Although car rental it is not recommended for day trips, car rental options maybe more economical for those who plan to stay in the city for a longer time. Since there is no public transport from the city to the airport and taxis are expensive, using a rental car to the airport can save you time and money.

Airport Information

In order to improve the service quality and to enable passengers to perform their needs faster, Nassau Airport operates within its three terminal buildings. In the spacious Lignum lounge at the airport, passengers can benefit from extra comfortable services for a fee. In addition to taking advantage of the food and drinks offered here, passengers can also hold meetings at the business center and spend time in the prayer room.

In the airport there is a RBC bank branch for those who want to make money transactions, aswell as  ATM machines for cash transactions. Also there is a post office where you can make all kinds of photocopying and computer work, a health center where you can go in case of a health emergency and a play area for your children to spend time.

Spread over the three terminal buildings, it is possible to shop from many stores. Among the places are; Adorn, Bahama Pearl, Caribbean Lighthouse, Cays News, My Ocean, Uniquely Bahamian, Sun Time, Ole Nassau Duty Free, John Bull, Frangipani and Del Sol.

In different parts of the terminal buildings you can also find food and beverage venues to meet your needs from; Bahama Bliss Cafe, Bootleggers Bar, Coral Royale Bar, Dunkin Donuts, Giotto, Island Grubb, Parma Pizzeria, Quiznos, Rhum Runners, Rythm Cafe, Starbucks, Sushi Rokkan and Wendy’s.
