About Argentia
Argentia is located in the Newfoundland and Labrador Region in the southeast of Canada. The city, which was also used as a military base during World War II and the Cold War, played an important role. Argentia is a pretty little port town with a population of about 500 people. The port provides the opportunity of trade and transport to freight ships. There is no ordinary city life in this city dedicated to the army and trade, and there are no local people who are constantly residing.
In Argentia the summers are short and cool. In August, the hottest period of the year, the average temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius. Winter months are long, cold and windy. Frost incidents are common in winter and surplus values of temperature are rarely measured.
